My husband and I had a busy Saturday on the 8th. Left home around 10am, we went to lunch, went for a walk, went to the movies and then we wanted to go to dinner. We had NO IDEA of where to go. We ended up going to Taboga in the Heights but it was so dead and we were basically the only two people there so we decided to leave after he looked through Instagram and found Krystal Bar & Lounge. We took an Uber from Taboga to Krystal Bar & Lounge and again we were the ONLY two there but at that point, it didn't matter, we were hungry and just wanted to eat. We were greeted at the door very quickly and were seated promptly. The waitress (who was also the day manager) came over to us and explained their specials regarding food (which, they still had Brunch) and for drinks (which was Happy Hour) - We were happy. We decided to partake in the Brunch special which was two courses and Unlimited Mimosa or Sangria. We both had the Mimosa which tasted good, the good thing is, we weren't looking to get drunk so this Mimosa was perfect as it didn't have TOO much champagne. For my appetizer, I ordered their Krystal Salad and honestly it was freaking GREAT! I literally ate it til the plate was clean, I was NOT embarrassed, after all, we were the only ones there lol For my main course, I had the Steak & Eggs with french fries - when I tell you, they served me the BIGGEST piece of steak - I was in AWE but I ate all of it. It tasted amazing. My husband had their Chofan rice and, that too, was amazing. I'll definitely be back!
